What are the requirements for the flash point of refrigeration oil?
As we all know, refrigeration oil plays a crucial role in the refrigeration system, and the indicator of flash point cannot be ignored. The flash point of refrigeration oil must be higher than the exhaust temperature of the compressor. For example, for compressors using refrigerants such as R717, R12, or R22, the flash point of the refrigeration oil suitable for them generally has to be above 160°C. If the flash point does not meet the standard, during the operation of the compressor, as the exhaust temperature rises, the refrigeration oil may experience dangerous situations such as flash combustion, affecting the safe and stable operation of the entire refrigeration system.
